Location: based on the correspondence with Ghorann (see image), we expect Eluviel is in Crescent Cove

Job: we don’t know his/their job, but Frei suggested he/they are important within Lunaire’s hierarchy, as a powerful mage. See also the greeting “may starlight guide you” at the end of his/their letter

Associates:

The nameless demon is looking Eluviel & while frustrated by Eluviel’s wiles, he also appeared to appreciate the memory trick Eluviel pulled off
Eluviel knew Ghorann by reputation (see letter)

Our assessment

Friend or foe: we don’t really know…

If we spent 18 months with Eluviel, did we become friends? Are we sure we spent those 18 months working with him/them? Or were we perhaps prisoners, or working on another mission till he/they kidnapped and incapacitated us?
Why were we sent away, without memory, without even a note explaining (unlike the note Ghorann received)? Why were we sent to the south, where there’s a lot of slavers & where at least Eldrin doesn’t really want to go?
Where is the Young Kraken? We're pirates, we don't want to be dry bandits, don't deprive us of our ship!
