Notes
During a quiet moment after the meal, Storm spends a while looking closely at Ophelia.
He gets out another scrap of Wendy's paper & some stubby pencils. They're part of his entertainer kit, but he's hopeful they'll serve his purpose anyway.
Quietly and unobtrusively, he sketches the different plants adorning Ophela's head in the Springcrest crown.
After a while, Storm frowns: this is as good as it's going to get.
He quickly scrawls a note
hey Enza, remember how we talked about how much Fyllion would love a statue in his honour? I bet rebuilding is a huge effort with a lot of moving parts, so it's understandable if a full group statue feels unobtainable, or even an individual statue of Fyllion, to whom such a tribute would mean the most to Fyllion...
In that spirit, I thought these flowers could be a good alternative, be it sculpted or painted, or even grown (if Nawa can spare the water - they're not desert plants!). I'm 100% positive these plants are meaningful to Fyllion, even thought I'm not sure about their exact meaning:
- purple-blue cornflowers
- white daisies (Storm bites his lip and eventually chooses a bright blue and some grey to try and get white petals onto the white-ish paper
- golden laurel branches with goodberries dotted among the frangrant leaves
Storm signs his name and slips the note and the drawing into a tiny envelope.
Before we leave, Storm slips the envelope to our intrepid captain Ezra Saree, with the words "Would you include this in your next missive to Enza in Nawa? A single letter will be cheaper, and my message isn't particularly urgent. We can split the cost, if you like?".
